My warmed up bones,

As I’ve caught your heart

And ran away.

Like a storm

And the open doors

Waiting for its guests

Who haven’t visited in so long.

So come back to me,

Forget what’s happened.

Because I can’t forget

What it means to be seen

In your daylight.

You light something up inside me

What I’ve never seen.

And I understand that I can’t do it anymore-

Not telling you what I’ve been wanting to hear:

I love you. 

And wish I could warm you up in my embrace.

Love you.

So much that I can’t do anything else but pray.
